This art installation by Austrian artists Gebhard Sengmüller and Franz Büchinger is a response to the lack of creativity within modern technology. Beyond the wires, bulbs and Betty Boop is a toast to technology's past.
Entitled 'A Parallel Image,' the installment is an impressive electronic camera obscura. The art piece features approximately 2,500 individual cables which are connected to a camera and monitor. Once fired up, the equipment transmits pixels from the sender to the receiver. Definitely a quick look to the past that must have taken ages to create!
