Rahal Farms approached the Anderson Design Group to help create the perfect packaging for the the company's farm fresh eggs. Looking to highlight Rahal Farm's holistic and friendly approach to farming, the team created a homey retro-style packaging loaded with on-shelf charisma.
Happy chickens are front and center on the wrap around cardboard label and the consumer is invited to "meet the girls." This humanizing of the farmer's flock endears the viewer to make a selection based not only on quality and price, but on morals as well. Once the consumer chooses Rahal Farms eggs, Goldie and her girls extend their gratitude underneath the lid of the carton. Nestled into a Tiffany blue colored carton, these farm fresh eggs give the impression of being a cut above the rest. The vintage typography and illustrations gives the package a feeling of cozy familiarity as well as an artisan quality.
