90s-Inspired Celebratory Sneakers

Nike's Air Max 98 Now Comes in a Racer Blue Colorway

Sportswear giant Nike has been on a roll with its consistent release of new silhouettes and colorways, and its latest drop is a new iteration of the Air Max 98s in a Racer Blue colorway. The new hues adorn the classic silhouette to celebrate its 20th anniversary approaching this year. The colorway was chosen to represent the 90s and the tones used are inspired by the era, whilst also highlighting the dynamic details of the sneaker silhouette.

The newest version of the Air Max 98s sees a white canvas base, with contrasting accents of blue and yellow. There are also black details to contrast as well, found on the toe and accenting the upper. Additionally, there is also 3M on the upper along with AIR branding details and a full-length midsole unit to finish the shoes. The Racer Blue Air Max 98 sneakers retail for the price of $160 and will be available this May.
