QuizUp is a head-to-head trivia game that is slowly taking over the world. There are a couple hundred thousand questions spread across over 400 topics. The most interesting part about QuizUp is that it is constantly being updated with more and more questions so it is difficult to get the same set of questions twice.
Each topic has its own leveling/ranking system. If you have a particularly favorite television show, movie or artist/band, you can challenge your friends or challenge a random person who is interested in the same topic.
QuizUp has become extremely popular and it is surprising how many people are being added to my friends list daily. I must say that when I first got the app it did start consuming my life, especially when I was bored but I have since figured out a way to use it minimally.
