Pizza-Centric Drive-Thrus

'California Quick Slice' Will Make Pizza Available Fast by the Slice

Pizza is undoubtedly one of the most-loved fast foods available today, and California Quick Slice aims to offer pizza-by-the-slice in a drive-thru format.

68-year-old Mercer Tyson was inspired to create California Quick Slice based off of a love of pizza slices and drive-thrus that he shares with his son. The menu may include a sampling of toppings, such as cheese, meat and a rotating special, plus take-and-bake pizzas that consumers can prepare themselves at home. The drive-thru is set to be open as early as 6 AM to catch the breakfast crowd with breakfast pizzas and close at 11 PM for the dinner and late-night crowds.

Although pizza will be the focus of the drive-thru, Tyson notes that the aim is not to compete with pizza restaurants, but rather other major fast food drive-thru chains.
