Scribbled Table Support

Jason Phillips' Quantum Table is Artfully Abstract

There is something beautiful about the chaotic scribbles supporting the Quantum Table. Artfully abstract, this piece of furniture seems like it belongs in the halls of a museum rather than in a living room of someone's home. The true beauty of this table is that it brings a touch of art and culture to one's abode.

Designed by Jason Phillips, the Quantum Table is intriguingly elegant despite its randomly bent metal legs -- or perhaps it is not so random. The Quantum Table is an 'interpretation of what the movement or path of subatomic particles might look like,' according to Yanko Design.

I especially like how the lacquered orange corian top of the Quantum Table acts as an anchor to the turbulent flux of the hand-formed steel wire base.
