The Quadient X Series lockers have been announced by the parcel locker and smart automation solutions brand as a way to help optimize shipping.
The lockers are characterized by their solar and battery-powered operation that's held within a rugged exterior construction to ensure they can withstand exposure to the elements. The lockers feature the brand's returns Drop Box alongside a build-in label printer to make returning shipments easier than ever. The lockers maintain a low-energy operation when in use and standby mode, and will reportedly run 24/7 with zero CO₂ emissions.
Chief Solution Officer Lockers Benoît Berson spoke on the Quadient X Series lockers saying, "Quadient is focused on making parcel delivery and returns more efficient, reliable and accessible for customers. The X Series pilot will be showcasing how innovation and sustainability can work hand in hand to strengthen our open locker network and contribute to our net-zero objectives under the Elevate to 2030 strategy."
