Secret Message Stickies

Qrawr's QR Stickers Turn Public Places into Virtual Bulletin Boards

QRawr is attempting to make all the world a virtual Facebook wall with their QR code stickers. The San Diego-based company has designed stickers, each with their own unique QR code attached. The stickers can be loaded with a message, picture or video using the QRawr app. The sticker can be scanned by others using the app and responses to the original message can be left in the form of text, a picture or a video.

QRawr's founders believe that the entertainment aspect of QR codes has been looked over in favor of their potential as marketing tools. The company seems to be well on the way to fixing that problem as the idea of leaving random messages for people in public places sounds really fun. The company has already released an iOS app for their stickers and is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter to create an Android version as well as to develop geolocation technology.
