PVV Infra partnered with Taiwan-based ITC Services Company Ltd to broaden an integrated clean-energy manufacturing project in Andhra Pradesh, featuring technology transfer and customization for high-efficiency TOPCon solar cells, BESS assembly and micro-inverters. The board approved an MoU to support consultancy and cross-border know-how for the expanded facility.
The revised plan raises the scope to about ₹1,250 crore and added 1.2 GW of TOPCon solar cell capacity plus 1 GW of module assembly, alongside battery energy storage system assembly lines and a micro-inverter manufacturing unit. The move builds on an earlier MoU with the Andhra Pradesh government from November 2025 and noted phased execution, financing closure and milestone-based implementation.
For customers and the domestic market, the collaboration could increase local value addition and cut dependence on imports for high-efficiency solar and storage components, improving supply-chain resilience. It aligns with India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat push and signals growth in regional renewable manufacturing hubs.
