KFC Australia recently ushered in the fall season with the addition of a new wrap called the Pumpkin & Feta Twister. With pumpkin remaining the most sought-after fall ingredient, the new dish is sure to appeal to those looking for a new way to enjoy the season squash.
The new Pumpkin & Feta Twister consists of grilled chicken strips, crumbled feta, roasted pumpkin, lettuce and a smoky chipotle mayo wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. However, unlike the bright orange pumpkin-flavored products found in North America, the wrap is made with the Japanese pumpkin kabocha, which is more commonly found in Australia. As a result, the wrap offers a unique take on conventional pumpkin spice dishes.
