Elegant Aristocratic Gastropubs

The Rosemary Gastropub Brings British Pub Culture to Paris

The Rosemary Gastropub is a charming nod to British pub culture located in the heart of mainland Europe. Situated in Bastille, the chic gastropub is housed within a 19th century building and is decorated in a typically English style. Filled with feminine furnishings that feel entirely like a London locale, the Rosemary is considered the first British gastropub infused with the essence of Parisian life.

The space is characterized by recently revealed raw finishing such as exposed brick walls and floral William Morris wallpaper that accentuates the original art deco features. A rich array of textiles like that of the velvet covering the stools at the stand up bar add depth and a Parisian take on British pub culture. The Rosemary was designed by Studio Janréji in collaboration with French entrepreneur Julien Roques, who was fresh off a residency in London when the two conceived the idea.
