The PTERP Project Fights Tickets With Art

Lucky drivers in NYC may notice their parking tickets magically disappearing, thanks to the PTERP Project. PTERP stands for the Parking Ticket Emotional Reclamation Project. What PETRP does is solicit artists to create an original work that can fit inside of an NYC parking ticket envelope. These original works of art are then switched out with random parking tickets on the street by the PTERP Project.

The PTERP Project is designed to brighten the day of someone expecting a dreaded and soul-crushing parking ticket. The art varies from simple slogans meant to pep people up to psychedelic portraits that might make you wonder if you shouldn't be getting a ticket for something else. You can see a few pieces of PTERP work along with a video showcasing the entire process here.
