Sebastien Wierinick Creates Benches That Will Blow Your Mind

These psychedelic benches are from the recesses of Sebastien Wierinick’s trippy mind. The Belgian designer completed these onsite installations with polyethylene tubes.

The pieces are in-your-face, sprawling upwards, out and down. This is the most unpredictably sporadic bench I’ve ever seen. Check it out above!

Implications - Though the bench could easily be dismissed as a boring piece of furniture, today's consumers and designers see everything as an opportunity for self expression. Those in all facets of the design industry would be wise to incorporate more abstract, artistic elements in all of their pieces in order to suit the increasing demand for furniture that allows for self expression to occur.
