Frederico Martins's 'Protect Me From What I Want' series is an unabashed sultry expose of temptation and craving. Though a touch risque, these are not bad qualities in a fashion editorial, where the point is usually to make the clothing and models look as good as possible.
Stylist Fernando Bastos Pereira's clothing is superb. Each outfit matches the expressions of the models perfectly and, in doing so, heightens their effect. Patricia Lima's expertly applied makeup help to accent the outfits without overshadowing them. In terms of hair styling, Vasco Freitas did a terrific job at creating looks that are prim, neat while also coming off as casual and nonchalant. Of course, models Jani Gabriel (Elite Lisbon), Girl Soares (L'Agence) and Josiane Monteiro (Karacter Models) deserve credit for their poise and grace.
