Bram Boo's Mate Table is an Unusual Piece of Privacy Screen Furniture

It's common to see chairs that are specifically designed to increase privacy, but in the case of a table this is more difficult to do because they're so open by nature—but this piece of privacy screen furniture manages to pull it off.

The Mate Table by Bram Boo has two of its legs replaced by a large circular surface that's like a tabletop turned on end. Instead of leaving space for someone else to sit, the shape of the desk blocks out anyone sitting across from you, or even making eye contact with you while you're busy working away at the desk.

This circular shape and other tables with similar solid geometric screens in oval, hexagonal and rounded square shapes attached were developed by Boo for Bulo.
