Andreas Lie is the Photographer Behind This Beautiful Series

Wild animals meet beautiful nature landscapes in these portraits, created by Andreas Lie, a Norwegian visual artist. He combines elegant backdrops of mountains, forests and various nature elements, atop the outline of beasts such as wolves and polar bears. Using two completely separate photographs, a double exposure portrait is created.

The beauty of the portraits is heightened by the natural coloring that offers a look into the true camouflage of the animals and their habitats. The textures of the trees, water and aggressive mountainous landscapes play a unique role in resembling the fur of such creatures; this produces a more cohesive image.

From large buffalo and polar bears to small forest creatures, such as squirrels and foxes, the series was undoubtedly influenced by the artist's coastal and mountainous surroundings in Bergen, Noway.

The prints are available in prints, tote bags, clocks, pillows and more.
