Dean Skira is a lighting designer and his latest design is the contemporary Polesano street lamp made to it into a wide range of urbanistic environments. Polesano is made for design label Delta Light and it marks its very first large outdoor lighting range. The lighting system is a modular piece that is multi-functional to be as versatile as possible -- it provides all forms of light in a single structure.
The Polesano is made up of a square based pole that leads into a variety of LED-filled heads that illuminate at different levels of intensities to adapt to different environments. The heads can be angled off in different directions to have spot lighting or more soft lighting. The team is currently working on developing an iteration that doesn't require any wires to enable more remote control.
