Kimpton Gray Boasts 10 Rooms for "Leafy Lodging"

In the contemporary state of the world, a plant hotel has many connotations. For one, it brings guests closer to nature, even amid the urban environment. Secondly, it builds on the movement of wellness, producing a serene setting and thirdly, it provides with ample, photo-friendly opportunities.

As a result, Kimpton Gray — a hospitality establishment in Chicago, launches a two-day plant hotel pop-up that is "aimed at houseplant-loving Millennials." The spaces draw inspiration from the city's Garfield Park Conservatory and the activation is launched after a survey revealed that the majority of Millenials requested plants as "the most desired hotel room amenity" and not condiments or streaming services.

In addition to being able to reside amid greenery during the plant hotel transformation, guests are also treated to tickets to 'Fleurotica' — a fashion event that is held at the Conservatory.
