The Conceptual 'Phantom' Tractor Vehicle Performs Multiple Tasks

The conceptual 'Phantom' tractor vehicle has been designed as a multipurpose solution for field tasks that will make the process more efficient and less invasive for human operators. Designed by Joona Järvinen, the vehicle is outfitted with dual continuous tracks that are led by a directional wheel on the front to easily tackle any kind of terrain or environment. Various attachments can be implemented onto the vehicle including tillers, excavators and much more to make it functional with nearly any task, while the semi-autonomous design keeps operators out of harm's way.

The conceptual 'Phantom' tractor vehicle identifies the future requirements of industry professionals as autonomous technology becomes a more mainstay part of the market. The vehicle received a honorable mention in the Valtra Design Challenge 2018.
