Walmart and P&G's PGMobile Trucks Offer Convenience & Accessibility

Walmart and Proctor & Gamble are launching a set of "@PGMobile Trucks" in Manhattan, New York, to deliver P&G products directly to consumers. Food trucks have become a go-to distribution channel for many food brands across the country, and now, it seems that even consumer goods brands are using them!

Acting as pop-up shops that provide quick delivery, Walmart and P&G's @PGMobile Trucks will be a month-long venture between the two consumer goods giants. According to Ad Age, the trucks will deliver "large consumables," including big boxes of Pampers Cruisers and jugs of Tide detergent, directly to the consumer, whether they are at work or at home. Consequently, this minimizes inconvenience and hassle -- the buyer doesn't have to move big products around on foot -- and also creates a unique way to make products more accessible to busy customers.

What's more, the @PGMobile Trucks all have giant QR codes on the sides that bring consumers to specific products on Walmart's mobile e-commerce app, where they can get free shipping on products as long as they buy at least $45 worth of goods.
