This PETA chimp campaign video aims to tackle the issue of using animals for Hollywood’s sake.
PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, can’t stress enough the fact that animal abuse is wrong. Sounds simple but the world is still full of ignorant and arrogant people who dismiss the fact that animals are living things. I’m a hypocrite since I eat meat so it’s a bit redundant for me to write this article. However, animal cruelty acts such as abuse and slaughter for fashion and entertainment is something I don’t abide to.
This video shows an obnoxious television agent in the middle of the jungle with a team who’s captured a chimpanzee. The man has slicked back hair, a fancy suit and laughs like a selfish rich man. The video aims to eliminate the use of animals in Hollywood, claiming that they’re caged up and abused behind-the-scenes.
