Architecture firm Three14 Architects designed a peaceful sanctuary for a young family in Cape Town, South Africa.
The home is located on a gorgeous piece of property offering views of both the Devil's Peak and The Back Table of the iconic Table Mountain. The architects focused on creating an open-space concept that took advantage of all the location had to offer in terms of views. The execution of these goals resulted in a house that is so lightweight in its design and construction, it appears as though it is floating.
The home is enclosed in a perforated courtyard which allows light to permeate though. The rooms within the house are carefully positioned so that they receive the maximum amount of natural light.
