Paul Westwood Concerts the Garage of His House to a Studio Space

Architect Paul Westwood, who is also the design director of RIOS, an international design collective unveils his latest project that takes place in his own home. He converts his garage in his London home to function as a studio and workshop for himself. It highlights a pared-back material palette that honors the heritage and roots of his Victorian house.

Paul Westwood speaks to Dezeen about the project and notes that "Before this project, we couldn’t really invite people round for a barbecue because everyone felt really penned in. The idea was to make the garden feel three times bigger than it did previously and to create a practical space for working from home. I also wanted to include storage for my tools and a way to harvest rainwater."
