Rising monstrously from the Beijing city skyline is the Pangu 7 Star Hotel Beijing, a massive accommodation and China’s latest statement of luxury.
Part of the larger Pangu Plaza development, the Pangu 7 Star Hotel Beijing was designed by celebrated Taiwanese architect C.Y. Lee. With th hotel’s shape resembling that of a dragon, the facade and interiors also feature dragons and dragon motifs.
The ‘Sky Courtyard’ on the 23rd floor is the hotel’s most luxurious room and boasts a rooftop garden, wading pool and electronically retractable glass roof. All yours for approximately $146,400 a night.
