This Quaint Office Building is Made with Sleek Reflective Sidings

Ghent-based Atelier Vens Vanbelle created a mirror-paneled building extension for a group of office pods. The reflective exterior walls are a unique way to keep the architecture clean and fresh. The mirror-paneled office extension adds a playful aesthetic and an optical illusion to passersby.

The idea was to created small office that is located at the end of a street. The design uses mirror cladding to make the road look as though it is never-ending. In addition to the mirrors, the building uses large steel framing and small amounts of bold brick accents. The idea was to sit the new building in front of the old one in a creative attempt to reflect the success of the first building onto the next one.

The smaller building was created to accommodate offices and a new reception area with a meeting room.
