The Panasonic Vitrine Features an Innocuous Design

The Panasonic Vitrine is a new display-like fixture for the home that has been co-created between the technology brand, Vitra and Daniel Rybakken to offer an innocuous solution that can be easily integrated into any space.

The smart glass cabinet features a transparent design that is intended to virtually disappear into a space when not in use instead of existing as a black box in the home. The unit has been created as a prototype of what we could see in the homes of the future as technology becomes an even more prevalent part of consumer living spaces.

The Panasonic Vitrine could provide users with notifications, display ambient artwork or even visualizations alongside music. The unit is on display at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, but only until April 14.
