London Fashion Week is going strong and Helen Kirkum joins by presenting the first in-house sneaker entitled the Palimpsest sneaker model. She is known to be a deconstructor and rebuilder when it comes to design and the shoes stem from that exact concept.
The unique look features fabric and consumer waste that was collected from TRAID charity bins as she usually does throughout her designs. The shoe is made for lifestyle purposes and has a white leather base foundation across the upper. It is also detailed with exposed stitching with a beige lacing system that features suede materials and a yellowed heel cap to create a worn-in look. Additional details include the "Made in England" tongue tabs and split sole units.
