The Ovo Melody Toy Concept is for Kids and Adults Alike

The Ovo Melody Toy concept has been designed by Marco Guariglia in collaboration with Jui Ju Lin as an inclusive toy for kids and adults alike that doesn't require eyesight to be used. The toy is based on a well-known pastime that slides down the track to create different sounds based on the nodes positioned on the route. The base of the unit will allow players to switch between different musical instruments, while Braille markings will let players easily make their way through the round.

The Ovo Melody Toy concept identifies what can be done to make childhood pastimes more accessible for those who have visual impairments, and helps reinforce a sense of inclusion early on to encourage a sense of confidence.
