London's Selfridge's is Hosting a Water Bar for Its Exhibit on Ocean Plastic

Part of a larger exhibition on ocean plastic, iconic London department store Selfridge's has had a stunning water bar installed by Italian studio Arabeschi di Latte.

The exhibit, entitled Project Ocean, was curated by Jane Withers and was conceived as a means to raising awareness around the amount of plastic continually building up in some of the world's most valuable bodies of water. The stunning water bar is serving up water treated with charcoal, herbs and minerals.

The Project Ocean exhibition at Selfridge's follows other mainstream fashion efforts to raise awareness around the pressing environmental issue, such as the sneakers designed in collaboration between adidas and British designer Alexander Taylor that were made 100% from ocean plastic.
