'NotMilk' Provides On-Demand Dairy-Free Milk Deliveries in NYC

A NYC-based company is hoping to bring back the tradition of milk delivery with a twist—all of NotMilk's products are dairy-free.

The brand was developed by two lactose-intolerant sisters who realized that store-bought nut milks are extremely watered down, loaded with preservatives and lack nutritional value. To remedy this, NotMilk began selling a range of its own nut-based milks, including types flavored to taste like vanilla, chocolate, coffee or exotic honey-lavender. In addition to drinks, NotMilk also produces a number of baked treats using its own "NotMilk flour."

Just as milk deliveries were carried out decades ago, NotMilk transports its glass bottles to the homes of consumers by foot or by bike. In addition to receiving a beverage that's all-natural, fresh and preservative-free, NotMilk customers can feel good that they're also also supporting local and sustainable initiatives.
