Petrol-Free Utopias

Nissan LEAF Goes to Extremes to Advertise its New Electrical Car

This Nissan LEAF exhibition sends a clear and direct message to people by modifying petrol stations to perform a slew of other functions.

To launch its 100 per cent electrical car, Nissan converted 40 real petrol stands to anything but gas pumps to show that it's possible to be in a world that's petrol-free. The outdoor exhibition was set up on a street where an array of gas pumps turned into popcorn dispensers, fortune tellers, gum ball machines and more.

The converted petrol bowers turn into everyday objects to state that in a world full of electric cars, there'll be no need for gas. These artfully depicted gas pumps are a fun and quirky way to advertise the Nissan LEAF automobile.
