Malleable Concrete Sculptures

Exogenous by Nelson Fossey Explores the Concrete Material

Nelson Fossey has worked on a project titled Exogenous, whereby "the project provides a method to implement and mold useful objects for outdoor courtyard or garden areas and design in-situ produced seatings," according to DesignBoom.

The project makes the use of concrete, since it's usually a material that most think about in a hardened form. Nelson Fossey wanted to change the perception of this, and have people think of this substance in a more malleable type of way. In a certain state it can be transformed into a number of different items, including sculptures of certain forms and even more practical designs.

Fossey has certainly done a good job of making the most of this type of material, and not allowing limiting beliefs to hold him back. Photo Credits: designboom, nelsonfossey
