Needle-Free Blood Tests

The Venus Sensor Creates New Methods to Extract Blood

It seems as though the 'Star Trek' days are now upon us with non-invasive and pain-free blood tests. The Venus Sensor and Portable Monitor was developed by Babs Soller and his research team through the National Space Biomedical Research Institute’s (NSBRI) Smart Medical Systems and Technology.

This device aims to eliminate the need for needles and hopes to increase the survival rates of victims. The Venus Sensor also monitors patients and allows hospital and medical staff to have direct access and receive updates on individuals’ conditions.

With this new type of technology, the health care industry might not be as stable and secure as we had previously thought. If you are under the age of 10, you might want to reconsider going to medical school.
