Dotted Line Folditure

The Perforated 'Nature of Material' Collection by Ran Amitai

As soon as I saw the ‘Nature of Material’ collection, I couldn’t help but be reminded of perforated paper that makes folds and ripping easier. Yet, clearly, these pieces of furniture aren’t as easily ripped apart as pieces of paper are.

Designed by Ran Amitai, the ‘Nature of Material’ was his final project at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Israel. A simple yet chic collection, I’m sure it earned him top marks.
