Simulated Iceberg Installations

This National Building Museum Exhibit Will Explore Icebergs

The National Building Museum will soon be host to a simulated ice mountain exhibit dubbed 'ICEBERGS.' The installation planned
for July 2nd to Sept 5th of this year will give guests visiting the space a chance to explore the inside of icebergs and experience what the colossal mounds of ice that float along the Arctic seas are truly like.

The ICEBERGS exhibit will be an expansive show on icebergs and all things related to them, as most people rarely have a chance to see one up close. The installation is set to feature recreated 56-feet structures made out of polycarbonate panels and scaffolding to recreate the massive hundred-year-old ice mounds. The exhibit will offer a unique below sea level view of the icebergs as well, giving an underwater experience that has never been seen before.
