UFP Packaging has expanded its portfolio of transportation offerings with a series of nail gun-free crates. The new designs — the Slot-Lock and the Clamp-Lock 100 — join the previously released U-Lock 200 to offer alternatives to nail-gun and staple-gun assembly.
UFP Packaging's Slot-Lock is a closed-style crate constructed with CNC-routed interlocking panels that are secured with strapping. This makes the offering suitable for transporting sensitive items such as medical equipment, aerospace components, and electronics. Clamp-Lock 100 employs patent-pending steel L-brackets that can be applied by hand. This, in turn, creates an open-style crate intended for commercial equipment, building materials, and infrastructure components.
Both nail gun-free crate systems are engineered to be disassembled without damaging the components, allowing for reuse and reducing material waste.
