Gareth Padfield's myCopter Would Reduce Traffic and Carbon Emissions

Flying cars may seem a little farfetched, but so did electric cars at one point, so don't be so surprised if you start seeing vehicles like the myCopter concept take to the skies. Considering the increasing need to reduce traffic on roads across the globe, this myCopter personal aerial vehicle may be just what the doctor ordered.

Designed by Gareth Padfield, the myCopter concept was commissioned as a European Union project. myCopter would fly at an altitude of less than 2000 feet and is only to be used for short distances. Aside from the obvious benefits, myCopter would also lessen the amount of carbon emission since this concept could very well be a fully electric vehicle.
