The My Kai Range is 100% Natural and Made from Bioplastic Materials

Unilever and Bio-on are introducing My Kai as a new line of eco-friendly sun care products that take inspiration from Hawaii and its special relationship with the sea. The name of the new product line references Hawaiian terms like "Kai" (sea) and "Makai" (to the ocean), as well as principles for protecting the delicate marine ecosystem. These products set themselves apart as the first of their kind to be made with new cosmetic ingredients from by Bio-on, including "micro powders made from naturally biodegradable bioplastic microscopic spheres or capsules"—which play a part in reducing the percentage of UV filters used.

The sun care products are offered with varying levels of SPF protection and will appeal to consumers who are looking to make more sustainable choices when it comes to protecting themselves and the earth.
