Pulse-Reading Instruments

Pieter Han Pieter Creates Music Out of Emotions

This advanced music technology project by Pieter Jan Pieters translates human pulses into music. The amazing music technology works by clipping on sensors to the user and then turning movements like the tap of your foot, a hand movement or even the beat of your heart into a tune. Some of the devices can even be worn on your hand to translate something as small as the tapping of your finger.

Many say music should come from the heart, and with 'Sound on Intuition' it really can! This advancement in music technology could be useful for musicians or artists looking to portray a direct translation of human emotions through music.

Pieter Jan Pieters created the device as part of his thesis project at the Eindhoven Academy in the Netherlands.
