Oak Multi-Functional Daybeds

The Pulse Daybed Has Several Capacities

Noidoi, a design studio hailing from Norway, has designed a multi-functional daybed titled 'Pulse.'

Made from solid oak, 'Pulse' is the epitome of contemporary living; it is covered with a Norwegian wool mattress which sports a flap that is folded to reveal a hatch. Beneath the hatch lies a magazine rack, and when removed, it doubles as a serving tray that can be used separately from the daybed.

Founders Kathrine Lonstad and Cosmin Cioroiu chose oak because they feel it would anchor the piece. The oak, along with the rest of the complementing materials, were chosen for their durability, visual appeal and tactile qualities. The simple, yet high-quality, craftsmanship is intended to highlight these materials.
