The Bentley Bentayga Features the Mulliner Biometric Secure Stowage Unit

The idea of small locking storage compartments in cars isn't new, but the Bentley Bentayga is taking it a step further with its new Mulliner Biometric Secure Stowage unit. This new concept came from Bentley's Mulliner customization division, and it features a secured space in the center console.

The Mulliner Biometric Secure Stowage unit features an aluminum cover with a capacitive fingerprint scanner. The top interior is padded to prevent damage to valuables and also features two USB ports. The USB ports are used for auxiliary charging for mobile devices and allow for connection to the vehicles infotainment system with Apple CarPlay support. The Mulliner Biometric Secure Stowage unit allows the owner to authorize multiple fingerprints for opening the box, so multiple users can also be given access.
