In Ms. Monopoly, female players collect more money than their male counterparts when they pass "go"—women get to collect 240 Monopoly bucks and men receive the standard 200 amount. With this game, Hasbro is introducing "a fun new take on the game that creates a world where women have an advantage often enjoyed by men."
There are other notable changes to the game too, including the fact that players invest in inventions created by women rather than real estate. To further celebrate female inventors, Hasbro shared a handful of first-edition games with inspiring young women, along with more than $20,000 to put towards their bright ideas.
