Revealing Liqueur Branding

The Mr. Black Bottle Reveals an Illustration as You Drink Its Contents

United Kingdom design agency United Creatives constructed this simple yet elegant packaging design for 'Mr. Black Cold Press Coffee Liqueur' that continues to impress as you enjoy your drink.

The label design itself in an excellent example of understated elegance. Resembling a celebratory sash the bottle's label wraps around the bottom with a simple two-color palette. Simple yet manly typography is paired with subtle decorative details including a stopwatch, coffee bean plant and drops of water to reflect the cold brew coffee nature of the 'Mr. Black' liqueur itself.

Perhaps most memorable however is the hidden branding decorating the bottle. Etched onto the back of the liqueur bottle is a black owl illustration that is only revealed to the drinker as the bottle is emptied. The end result is a stunning example of subtle branding that has been brilliantly executed.
