This Moving Photography Series is Brutal and Inspiring

Showing viewers the brutal aftermath of a typhoon on people's lives and their cities, photographer Roland A. Nagy documents the horrible destruction post-Typhoon Yolanda in his new moving photography series.

Documenting the lives of people post Typhoon Yolanda (also known as Typhoon Haiyan), the Hungarian photographer shows us how people continue to suffer after the devastating Typhoon Yolanda hit the Philippines at the end of 2013. As the strongest tropical cyclone and deadliest typhoon in history, the catastrophic aftermath left 6,000 dead, almost 2,000 missing and nearly 30,000 injured.

Nagy shows the viewer how life is still in shambles in the city of Tacloban where death toll was high, and how even months after the typhoon hit, the Philippines people are still rebuilding their lives from scratch in his moving photography series 'YOLANDA/HAIYAN.'
