Moskovskaya's Variants Update Russian Vodka-Infusing Traditions

Inspired by the eastern European tradition of infusing vodka with herbs and spices, Moskovskaya launched an Infusions range that features unconventional vodka flavors: Horseradish and Honey, Pickle and Dill, Ginger and Lime, and Cranberry and Lime. For the creation of the Moskovskaya Infusions range, master blender Janis Mazis took cues from the way eastern European drinkers traditionally enjoyed vodka with pickle snacks, slices of bread, lard or even fatty meats.

While many people are familiar with the combination of vodka and cranberry, the range also offers a refreshing new way to experience classic cocktails—as the Moskovskaya Ginger and Lime is said to be comparable to a Moscow Mule.

As an alternative to sickly-sweet flavored vodka products, consumers are turning to alcohol that's made with real ingredients and unusual, experimental flavors.
