Donald Weber Captures Kiev's Creative Molotov Cocktails Concoctions

Having spent the whole month of February in the midst of all the political tensions and exploding chaos in Kiev, photographer Donald Weber shows viewers the creative and effective Molotov cocktails concoctions that protesters use as their weapon of choice.

Kiev's EuroMaidan protesters defended their barricades and were able to stay put in their positions with the help of these Molotov cocktails, which are widely used by protesters the world over against brutish governments and their security forces. Having rummaged through the city to find and collect these bottles, protesters then used them against tanks and armored vehicles to set fire to the government's well-armed forces.

Weber does an amazing job of portraying these hand-made weapons in a way that seems cold and nonchalant, giving them an almost artistic DIY feel.
