Prefab Nomadic Hotel Pods

Moliving Offers Movable Pods that Contain Hotel Rooms

Moliving is a New York-based startup that creates prefabricated and movable hospitality pods. The pods will make up the Hurley House hotel, located upstate New York in the Hudson Valley. The movable hotel pods contain one room per structure. Movliving aptly describes them as "the world's first nomadic hotel concept."

The pods were designed by an in-house team led by architect Steven Chen and Moliving's chief operating officer Hannah Bem. They are constructed in controller facilities and transported to the hotel site. These nomadic hotel rooms are designed to exist alongside permanent structures that house guest services. If the hotel's room requirements change in the future, the pods can easily be moved to different locations without leaving a trace.
