The Mobile Orchard will have two incredibly life-size and handcrafted CNC wood trees with enormous inter-knit branches and surface roots that visitors can sit on. Each piece of wood used is left as natural as possible to maintain a true tree-like feel. The planks used to simulate the bark are carved, etched and filled with hundreds of LED lights so that the trees can be illuminated once the sun goes down. Even more astonishing is that the branches will have real apples attached to them that can be picked and eaten, just like at a real orchard. An impressive design structure, the Mobile Orchard is the first movable and traveling grove of its kind.
