Futuristic Abstract Campaigns

The Latest Missoni Campaign Inspects Geometric Forms

Art directors M/M Paris collaborated with photographer Viviane Sassen to create a Missoni campaign for the Winter 2014 collection.

The series features a model standing next to abstract forms that are intended to be robotic alter egos, against a background of archaeological ruins. On paper, the idea sounds ludicrous; but one browse through the images proves that this accomplished team really pulled it off. It's not just wackiness for the sake of being wacky.

Missoni explains, "This multifaceted model of femininity and elegance, simultaneously sinuous and angular, daring and ironic… conceiving a version of a world advanced in time: like a daydream in the year 2970 that symbolizes the aspirations, energy and highly imaginative vitality of the Missoni language.
