Marie Dessuant made these undulating-edged tiles from stainless steel, shaping them so that they resemble the abstract forms created by small pools of spreading water. With depths of just 1 millimeter, the pieces can be fixed to the top of existing flooring or integrated into the laying of a new mosaic. While the Mirror Puddles might give the false impression of untidiness, more importantly, they create whimsical reflections of ceilings, walls, furnishings and even people.
